Mackenzie & Zane Ft. A Hazy Oregon Sunset

If you’re here for ~ the spectacular golden hour ~ go ahead and scroll down to the end ⬇️ you won’t be disappointed!!

Meanwhile, I could never skip over the rest of Mackenzie & Zane’s wedding day - their joy was just too uncontainable!

Mackenzie’s color palate was the perfect blend of neutrals with some pops of color - as you can see from her bouquet and later with the reception photos!

The whole wedding party wore black besides the bride and groom who wore white - and I’m in love with the way it turned out!

Okay so this ceremony entrance was definitely the most unique I’ve seen! 😄 The venue had a train ride going through the property, so the couple took full advantage of that!!

Remember how I said their joy was uncontainable?? 🥹

Mackenzie is a full-time reseller so the entire reception was thrifted and I’m still in shock! I mean just look at the table seating chart - those jars with the hand-written names are stunnnnning! She also made that LOVE sign!!!

And we can’t forget about the kids table with the plastic goblets to match the glass ones on each table 🥹

This whole wedding party was SO fun (if you can’t tell in these photos!), but they were also incredibly kind!! A few of them even came up to me throughout the day expressing their gratitude and said that I was doing great 😭

During the couple’s portraits, one of the bridesmaids came over with her hand in a fist, and I was thinking it was a prank or something 😂 but then she shows them this frog she found!! So of course, we had to get some cutie shots with it!

If you didn’t know, cloudy days are actually the best for photos. The clouds provide even coverage and just a stunning glow all around! And even though we were worried that they wouldn’t clear for golden hour, I was at least thankful for them for the rest of the day!

And now onto the unexpected golden hour!!! Like I said, we thought it wouldn’t show because of the clouds - but God had other plans and it was mind-blowing!! Half of the guests came over to get photos as well, it was so mesmerizing!

Zane has an electric bike so when he asked if he should bring it for some photos, I said “ummm YES!”

During the reception, they had a s’mores station!! And this was no backyard fire-pit (I don’t even think it would have been legal in OR at that time anyways haha) - they hired a company to come and make the most luxurious s’mores right in front of you and it was an experience, let me tell you - messy but so worth it! One thing about me is I will always eat the dessert at your wedding 😂

Once it came time to dance the night away, Mackenzie changed into her grandmother’s wedding dress - which I thought was so fun and special!!

P.s. If you are one of those people who never leaves the dance floor, I want to take this time to say thank you - from me and every other wedding photographer out there - you are royalty to us. Never change 🫶🏻

And that’s a wrap!! Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed!! 😘
